The rules for playing LOOP. Short, readable, and written for people who just want to play a quick game — not lawyers.
LOOP is a small site at playspuzzle.com that publishes free daily browser games. By using the site or playing any of our games, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please don't use the site. We've kept the language plain on purpose, but these terms are still a real agreement between you and LOOP.
All three games — Color Hunt, Daily Number, and Merge Drop — are free for your personal, non-commercial use. You can play them in your browser as often as you like, share a link with a friend, and come back each day for the new board. You don't need an account, and we don't charge for anything.
What you can't do is treat the site as your own property: don't copy the games, repackage them, embed them on another site, sell access to them, or run them as part of a paid or commercial product. If you'd like to feature LOOP somewhere or talk about a different arrangement, email us first.
LOOP created and owns the games and everything that makes up the site — the game designs and rules, the code, the artwork, the LOOP name and logo, and the words on these pages. They are protected by copyright and other rights. Playing a game gives you permission to play it; it does not transfer any ownership to you.
Game concepts like spotting an odd color, guessing a hidden number, or merging objects are common ideas, and we don't claim those. What belongs to LOOP is our particular versions of them — the specific look, feel, daily boards, and implementation you see here.
All three games feed a global daily leaderboard so you can see how you compare to other players worldwide on that day's board. Daily Number gives you one ranked solve a day; Color Hunt and Merge Drop let you retry and keep your best run. When you submit a score, you can choose a nickname. A few sensible rules apply:
We moderate the leaderboard, and nicknames that break these rules may be removed or changed without notice. We may also remove scores that appear to be tampered with or submitted by automated tools, so the rankings stay meaningful for everyone playing honestly.
Your day-to-day progress — your best scores on Color Hunt and Merge Drop, your one daily solve on Daily Number, and your streak for playing each day — is saved locally on your device in your browser. We don't make you sign in, and that progress lives in your browser, not in an account tied to you.
The exception is a score you submit to the global leaderboard from any of the three games — including a solved Daily Number — which is sent to our server so it can appear in the rankings. How that and other data are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
LOOP is free because it's supported by ads, and a few third-party services help us run it:
These services may set cookies and collect certain data through your browser, governed by their own terms and policies. We don't control what they do with that data. For the specifics of what's collected and your choices, please read our Privacy Policy.
We build these games with care and want them to work well, but we offer the site "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the games will always be available, bug-free, or uninterrupted, that a daily board will load every time, or that the leaderboard will be flawless. From time to time games may be down for maintenance or behave unexpectedly.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LOOP isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site — for example a lost score or streak, a missed daily board, or any issue caused by an ad or a third-party service. These are free, lightweight games meant for a few minutes of fun, and you use them at your own discretion.
LOOP is an evolving project. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue any game or feature at any time — for instance retiring a mode, adjusting difficulty, or changing how the leaderboard works. We may also update these terms as the site grows or as our services change. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
LOOP is operated from South Korea, and these terms are governed by the laws that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
