About Merge Drop

Merge Drop is a free physics puzzle on LOOP. You drop balls into a container, and whenever two balls of the same size touch, they merge into one bigger ball. Bigger merges score more, so the goal is to chain combinations and grow toward the largest balls you can. When two of the very largest balls touch, there's no bigger size to make, so they pop instead — both vanish for a big bonus and clear that space off the board. The catch: balls pile up under real gravity, and if your stack crosses the top line, the run ends. Aim each drop, watch the NEXT preview, and leave room to recover.

There are two ways to play. Ranked is the daily challenge: the same ball sequence is served to every player worldwide each UTC day, so scores are comparable on the leaderboard. You get one official Ranked attempt per day on a fresh board, so make it count. Free is endless practice with a fresh random sequence, and it's always there when you want to warm up first. Playing the daily keeps your streak alive.

Tips for a higher score

FAQ

How do two balls merge?

They have to be the same size and touch. When they do, they combine into the next size up. Different-size balls just rest against each other.

What ends the game?

Letting the pile rise over the top line. Manage your stack height and clear space with merges to keep playing.

What happens at the biggest size?

There's no size beyond the largest ball, so when two of the biggest balls touch they pop instead of merging — both disappear for a big bonus and clear that space. It's a useful way to reclaim room late in a run.

Can I play the daily more than once?

Ranked is one official attempt per UTC day on that day's board, so your single run is the one that ranks. After it, the daily locks until the next UTC day. You can still practice as much as you like in Free mode with a fresh random sequence.
